Short version: We barely collect any data

All calculations happen in your browser. We don't collect, store, or sell your calculation inputs. The most we collect is basic anonymous analytics to understand site usage.

Smart Web Tools Calculators ("we," "us," "our") is operated at calc.smartwts.com as part of the SmartWTS platform. This policy explains what data we collect (if any), how we use it, and your rights.

Calculator Inputs

We do not collect your calculator inputs. When you use any calculator on our site, all computations happen locally in your browser using JavaScript. Your numbers (loan amounts, salary, health measurements, etc.) are never sent to our servers.

Local Storage

We use browser local storage to save your preferences (dark mode), recently visited calculators, and favorite calculators. This data stays in your browser and is never transmitted to us. You can clear it at any time by clearing your browser data.

Analytics

We may use Google Analytics or similar services to collect anonymous usage data, including: pages visited, approximate location (country/region), browser type, device type, and referral sources. We use this to understand which calculators are most useful and improve the site.

Contact Forms

If you submit our contact form, we collect your name, email address, and message content. We use this only to respond to your inquiry and do not add you to any marketing lists without your explicit consent.

Cookies

We may use cookies for analytics (Google Analytics). We do not use advertising cookies by default. If we add ad serving in the future, we will update this policy accordingly.
